Probably slip from being the world's fifth largest economy to it's sixth largest.

I don't hate the Arizona desert landscape, in fact it can be quite beautiful, especially the desert fauna and flora south of Tucson. But along with the beauty come critters like centipedes, tarantulas and snakes. Having said that, I do love the Javelina's that come out at night. Just magical. I'm hard core LA, but will always have a connection to Arizona.

Imagine what it would be like if it didn't squander so much.

Social democracy or democratic socialism, is not the same as what happened in the Soviet Union. Democratic socialism means taking capitalism and making it work for everyone, not just an oligarchy (which is where we're headed).

I know the right-wingers always have to have someone/something to hate on, though, whether it's environmentalists, gays, educated people, religious minorities, people who have abortions, liberals, etc.
Well out of that list ...I only hate liberals and abortions so I must be only 40% right wing ... which makes me left leaning ....

The Gap between the two is widening the 6th largest is the U.K. and they are going though brexit. meanwhile California is on track to pass $3 Trillion next year. Being the only state to cross 2 and 3 Trillion. Just added another Phoenix last year. We have the fastest growing economy in the country right now.

Right, because wanting to maintain a social safety net and a belief in civil rights, and wanting to do something about climate change, makes one a "whack job"?

Just go to Phoenix with the rest of the Rush Limbaugh boot lickers and Bible-thumpers then.
