We have been here for 7 winters now, I believe this is the single biggest 24 hour snow event we have had. The drifts are very impressive. Got anywhere from 12-20" depending on the spot. I guess I will call it 15. There was only one spot where it was 20.

About 6 inches in Caribou. That's enough! We are close to 100 inches now. On some roads, the banks are 9-10 feet high (on one side of the road).

I made this Long Loop. 2am Feb 12th to 8pm Feb 13th Snowstorm.

I guess I was lucky being north of the rain/snow line. Wow. Even PA was getting rain.

Maine was getting those famous wrap around bands. Wow! Especially Central and Eastern Maine.

Maine living up to its snowy hype? Wow. And more coming!

Bangor with 36.1" this month. Only 5 other February's on record had more.

Meanwhile Caribou with only 14.5" this month.

Here are the totals last 72hrs alone!

Here, in Aurora, ME, 23℉/-5℃, Dew Point 17℉/-8.33℃, Winds West 5mph/8.047kph...
Survived our first Blizzard in Maine - There were so many drifts, it was impossible to get an accurate measurement...This morning we spent three and a half hours scooping approximately 2 1/2 feet of snow....We had drifts from 3-6 feet high in our front/door yard...Our SUV was packed in....We didn't have much light by which to scoop, except moonlight at 4:00 in the morning....
Our neighbor finally came with his tractor and removed the rest of our snow around 9:45am!
A few times while removing snow, I lost my footing and ended-up falling forward in the snow to my waist and had to use the scoop to get myself back up...I laughed so hard, it took several tries and minutes to finally get up!
Understand we have another foot of snow on the way...We can do this! A foot is nothing to what we received on February 13, 2017!
