I stop by and read the posts from time to time and noticed Elcarim and Mollysmiles missing. Anyone know how Elcarim is doing with her new life in Maine?

We're doing our part too. We took a dozen to Vermont last weekend, had lobster sauce with our steak yesterday and lobster rolls for lunch on Monday! I'm getting lobstered out! I like lobster but I sure could go for some Alaskan King Crab!!!

I was going to buy lobsters today but they wanted 8.99 a lb. here so, I'm making a fish chowder with a nice piece of haddock (4.99 per lb.).

I dont know the exact price but we had 4 lobsters between 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds each and we spent less than $25.......for a truely memorable meal....thats not bad! If I can have lobster once or twice a year....I consider myself a lucky man.....and we are way ahead of that game.

After Worship service this morning we had a church picnic. One guy had served his employees with a lobster feed yesterday, and he had bought extra to provide our picnic too. He got them for $1.99/pound.

Steamed lobster, muscles, corn on the cob, bbq chicken, ....

We ate so much, we are sleepy now, 'B' is taking a nap.

It was great!

$1.99/pound is a good price too.

Unless you're a lobsterman.
