Absolutely!

It happens more than you'd think, from what I hear from some pax. Driver just hits "cancel" on his app and chooses a reason. If a cab driver tries that, the passenger will call the dispatcher and the driver likely gets disciplined. Thus, taxis are less likely to do this and seem more reliable.

More and more rideshare drivers are refusing long rides recently, as rate cuts have made those trips much less profitable.

I will never turn anyone down. Not my style.

This or commuter rail. I don't think I'd want to deal with an Uber driver in a car with no snow tires.

International evening flights tend to go when most everything else is cancelled. Most domestic flights are quick turnaround and the inbound can't get to Logan. The transatlantic flights tend to arrive many hours in advance. It's easy enough to track the inbound for most of the flights.

One of my lady friends does lyft, and the only way it ever really makes sense for her is when they are doing a challenge/promo thing where she gets a bonus for reaching milestones. They run fairly often it seems, but the milestones are # of rides, not mileage, so once again, more shorter rides are far better.

... My flight is 10:10 pm, so prob need to get there around 7 pm to deal w TSA delays. Perhaps I'll book the car around 5:15 pm. So if it takes 30 min to arrive, I'll be in good shape. Drive is from Natick to BOS which usually takes 45 min but it could take 1 hr w the weather.
So what happened?
