Me, personally, probably not. However I wouldn’t be horrified by those that did. I mean people have been going to the Casino in Everett for 3 months now. I’d go to Gillette 8 days a week before I did that, or dined indoors. Everything people do doesn’t have to be met with . There is a happy medium.

Information coming from the White House as well as the doctors seems to be all over the map. I don't think it pays to read too much into this, but the information certainly appears conflicting - he's doing well and may be released tomorrow, versus he's been treated with oxygen and dexamethasone, in addition to monoclonal antibodies and remdesivir. These treatments aren't like cough drops and ginger tea, and they seem to be deploying quite a few.

In the meantime, in our local hospital, covid patients still aren't allowed visitors and die alone, as far as I know.

According to CNN, he is taking a steroid that is believed to be reserved for only the most severe cases.

And I just heard that's not a normal car; it's airtight and was designed to survive a chemical attack.

Dexamethasone is a double edged sword - it can suppress inflammation and quell a pathological self-immune reaction, but it can also accelerate the infection. Normally, doctors shouldn't give it to Covid-19 patients, unless it appears the danger from inflammation is greater than the danger from infection,. Of course nothing is normal here, and the President is also taking the antiviral Remdesivir, and the thinking may be that so long as he's on Remdesivir, it's okay to give dexamethasone prophylactically.

I didn’t vote for Trump, but people being upset because he (may not) be as sick as they hope is very telling about where we are as a society.

When said person is either responsible for or has greatly enabled policy that threatens the livelihoods and even the lives of millions of people, there's bound to be some strong animosity. Some see that another 3-5 years of this man unchecked is going to create another Putin (and possibly another Hitler) but should they reserve their death wishing until Trump really starts ramping up the mass executions of refugees, immigrants, and political dissenters?
