Why isn't this admin creating immigration policy that works for everyone? They have total control....nobody can stop whatever they come up with, yet they do nothing. People are dying in large numbers, due to their inaction. Refrigerated trucks/trailers are having to be brought in to store all the bodies, until they can be burried.

Some governors made their states sanctuary states, & others have not. That is the constructive solutions they have implemented to deal with illegals. Each state gets to decide.

Some illegals are bringing in fentanyl that is killing our youth by the thousands...still no new immigration policy...many these deaths are preventable.

I know immigrants who have served as well. They are a different breed than most immigrants who show up here.

How disingenuous to think that this problem started with the current admin 18 months ago! It *is* a federal responsibility, but Congress has to act on immigration reform. If this were truly recognized as a bipartisan issue as infrastructure was, maybe we'd have some hope.

The Governors who are shipping migrants elsewhere, are acting outside established process, and outside their authority, to score cheap political points with their base. They're not truly interested in a solution.

Gonna disagree on this till the cows come home. Most immigrants who risk their personal lives to come here, absolutely become the most loyal to this country and believe in its ideals and promise. Despite MAGA attempts to characterize them as "invaders" or worse.

It's little different from the "welfare queen" trope promoted in the early 80s. First step in the far right game plan is to dehumanize. When they've successfully done that and the group in question is seen as "subhuman" then nothing done to them is beyond reproach. Data, statistics, and facts be damned. They're "other" than "us".

Breed? How do you decided which breed an immigrant is? Ellis Island style?

"Breed" = attitude. They have a better attitude than people who come here and then whine and and complain and call us "racist".

Exactly! they appreciate the country, what it has to offer, they want to be American. These days people just come here and think everyone else should assimilate to them.
