I pulled my snowblower out and used it for the first time this winter last Thursday. I tried to only put in just enough gas to clear the snow but I was not successful so now I need to use it once more to use up the gas.

Might need it for Fri/Sat's storm depending on whether it stays snow or not. At least things look clear after that.

I used my 30" blower twice this season.

Last storm we got 3" or so of heavy snow, and I'm not shoveling a 6-car driveway full of that stuff.

Usually for the light storms, I use the snowblower as a plow and just drive it forward without using the auger. When i reach the end of the driveway, i flip the auger on to clear the blower and then just repeat. It's a lot quicker and less work than hand shoveling it no matter how light due to the area I need to clear. So even if we get 1" of snow, i pull the blower out and use it.

True, I have a four car driveway, not six...you may have changed my mind.

We go with the Weathertech mats in the cars. They’re great and can be hosed off and easily cleaned.

We just go no shoes in the house. It’s not just in winter that various stuff gets tracked in.

I just put Tuxmat in my car. I’ve had WeatherTech and Husky in the past.

We’re always shoe-free in the house. Saves a lot of wear and tear on the urethane on the hardwood floors.

I just fished the snow shovel and big broom out of the garage. I haven’t shoved at all this year. Here, it looks like it will melt before I need to move it.

2 inches of snow and the kids are home from school. One day after they had an entire week off. Perfect. I’m not enjoying the direction of the 2020s so far.

Got 1.5-2" of snow this AM. I used the blower with the plow method. Push to end of driveway and just flip the auger.

Seems like a waste, but i have a tool so I might as well use it.

I pulled it out of the shed yesterday but I didn't end up using it today. I just shoveled the little walkway and a little bit in front of the garage doors.

My kids had a two hour delay today...unnecessary I'd say.
