What's wrong with Reading now?
These two homes will be north of $3M in any of the W towns. They look like good properties, and the price is good.

Nothing is wrong it. But it's not a W town, it was always known as a regular middle to upper-middle class town.

it's close to Boston on the map...but still probably takes hours to commute during rush hour.

It does have the train, and it's near to Woburn/Burlington area jobs.

And the W towns don't take hours???
Reading is fairly close,,, I would say 75min during rush hours to Cambridge or Boston,,, very similar to Wess, Wes/Way.
As someone who recently moved to town,,, I would say Reading/Stoneham is on the top of my list once I have enough money to buy.

There is nothing wrong with reading. Some are just surprised to see the price tags on the homes there. Sticker shock. Towns have changed...and it's all the townies faults lol

That's the problem...too many think it's ok for prices to be where they are and think it's norm. It's not norm when you look at the rest of the country as a whole. MA is one of the most outrageously priced states compared to let's say 40 of the others!

And I guess we're the only state lacking in inventory
