I'm not all that big on bbq, but like Corky's best and have had some good meals at Tops, too.

It's a mystery to my how the Rendezvous got such a great rep.
Probably when they did smaller volumes the quality was much better and more consistent...

Saw somewhere that the franchisor of the Little Rock region is considering opening a second location, they must be doing pretty good (I think it just opened this year). Also, there's going to be a location in Austin, in addition to the one in the 615. Gus's is blowing up.

Yah!

Gus's Brentwood/Nashville

Looks like our "spicy" chicken is different from theirs, and some don't like our variation, lol ...

Dang it, Kabluey, ya beat me to it. I was just about to post.

Anyone tried Pollard's BBQ? It was on Restaurant Impossible.

Pollard's Bar-B-Que : Restaurant: Impossible : Food Network
I have an itchy trigger finger.

Never heard of Pollard's. Curious about others' impressions.

The bbq nachos are definitely worth trying. I like them best with fries instead of chips, and with the hot bbq sauce as well as jalapenos. Wunderbar.
