Yeah those rebel flags are very common here in Florida In Miami you don't see them on the streets like in other parts of the state but you still can find people with those flags on their yards or cars with rebel flag stickers but usually only in the rural areas like the Redlands or Davie. I have seen a huge decrease in the Redlands though . But the West coast, OMG they have those flags all over the place. Sometimes huge flags welcoming you to Naples or Tampa.

There are some people in this forum who like to push the politic,race and culture cards to the extreme. They have maps and statistics for everything - even for insignificant words like 'cats' or 'cars' per se.

You better not talk s#it about a dog eating your pie, because they'll show you maps and statistics proving how impossible it is for dogs to eat pie.

Then, right after making you feel guilty for what you said, they'll dramatize their words by adding lines like: African American culture and dogs eating pie phenomena, or dogs eating pie during the Bush years (They'll show you maps and statistics for those too).

You don't have to explain yourself to them, you just wrote what you saw there in Tahllahahhhseeee, and that's final. No maps or statistics are going to change what you've experienced there.

Winter, please Just say no to drugs. There are better ways to say that you don't agree with rogerbacons posts. You are right though, many people in the Florida forum especially, paint a very different picture of the real Florida. The funniest posts have to be those that Paint Tampa or Sarasota as a liberal place. What a joke.

I might went a little overboard with my example, but what I said it's not far from being true. I'm pretty sure you read only the " dog eating pie" line and misjudged my whole post based on it, without analyzing first why I said those things. You just want to make me look like a drug-addicted idiot who fantasizes about dogs eating pie. You know well that wasn't the point of my post - you understood what I said - so don't hide it with sarcasm and 'offensive' jokes. Stop being so proud geeezzz
