IMHO Miami food scene is very poor compared to other big cities
We have decent Latam restaurants, but still craving for good/cheap authentic asian ones.

Why do ppl compare Miami and LA so much?
The fact that each city has a mild climate and palm trees means nothing.

LA has a much larger and diverse food scene for the simple fact LA is like 5 times the size of Miami.
LA has much more Mexican food options. It has much more Asian food options and Asian/Mexican/American fusion options. It has more vegetarian and vegan options as well/

Miami is small compared to LA. Miami has a great food scene tho. But it's not comparable to LA. Simple as that.

To tell you the truth, though, it's hard to beat LA. I love Miami, but I think LA has everyone beat in the food department.

LA food scene is over rated not even in the same league as Chicago, NYC or SF.. it beats Miami but its that great.

LA food scene is the best in the country hands down.

I lived in NYC, the Midwest where I took many trips to Chicago and I have also been to SF several times.

The amount of food options in LA and surrounding area cannot be beat. seriously.

Agreed. Love the options we have in Latin American cuisine (well, guess we don't have a lot of Mexican places), but everything else is underwhelming. Even the new, "chic" places are generally expensive and not where you get your money's worth despite the food being decent.
