I watched it and thought it was a nice tribute to the military, but was really wondering what the folks in the military or military vets felt about it.
Not sure if it is okay to ask this on this forum, but figured there are more military on here. Sorry if this isn't a correct place to ask this question.
I'm not military, only a Vietnam-era veteran, and I have no television and my internet went down from 3:30 pm to almost midnight yesterday while I was watching some of it live on YouTube, but from what I could watch today on YouTube, I thought it was a great tribute to our nation as well as our military.
I apologize if you were only seeking comments from those currently in uniform.

Firstly thank you for your service. I changed my original post. I didn't mean to exclude those that have been in the military prior and it was just poor writing on my part. It would be great to hear from anyone involved or that has been in the military. I felt it was nice and feel those that have served and are serving would have liked it, but I don't know.
It’s all for show. When I was in I would have hated to have been a part of this but that’s just me, I hate being the center of attention. Some guys enjoy all the attention even if they have to deal with inspections and uniform readiness. He is the Commander in Chief of the US Military. I didn’t watch. I would have liked to have seen a small contingent of each branch represented in order they were established. Groups of selected scout troops would have also been nice if included.
I watched it on CSPAN today and thought it well done. IMO it was a good tribute to the American People and covered a lot of ground. It was not as heavy on the military as it had been portrayed. Contained some good history points.
It did seem that the crowd really enjoyed the flyovers and anytime you get a chance to see the Blue Angels perform, take it. (just an FYI)
During my time in the service, I was not crazy about those dog and pony shows but then again so often people were touched when honored by one. So it was a mixed bag.
Completely indifferent. The military has been spending countless millions on traveling air shows all over the country, every year, for decades. No one bats and eye. The Blue Angels and Thunderbirds are multi million dollars a YEAR programs that exist SOLELY for shows like this, and have no combat missions, ever. Why is everyone so upset about this one show, and not the others that far eclipse the cost of this one? Oh, because it has Trump's name attached.
Who cares... this is normal operating procedure for the military...

But....don’t you think Thunderbirds and Blue Angels help recruiting? Kid sees crew in sharp uniforms and it appeals to him/her, not realizing if THEY enlist they’re gonna be wearing non-tailored fatigues.
