I wish the Waterman building would empty out the rest of their tenants and convert to residential. We’re actually getting to the point where we could be in the longest stretch of no large buildings being constructed downtown.

22 years: Van Antwerp(1907) - merchants bank(1929)
11 years: merchants bank(1929) - admiral semmes(1940)
7 years: admiral semmes(1940) - waterman(1947)
18 years: waterman(1947) - trustmark(1965)
18 years: trustmark(1965) - Riverview(1983)
11 years: Riverview(1983) - government plaza(1994)
12 years: government plaza(1994) - RSA(2006)

That’s most of the buildings downtown. We’re in year 17 of none. Getting close to that 22 year mark
