Am I missing the unveiling of the “enhanced concepts of riverfront redevelopment” that mayor Stimson said in his 3rd 100 days checklist update? I haven’t seen anything about that

The old Wacked Out Weiner space on Dauphin is going to be "Ginger and Spice" - a juice bar.

The remaining Royal St frontage space in the Staples Pake Building may be a Jabby's Pizza.

So the Civic Center Corp of Engineers building probably just got killed... the BOA denied the 50 foot variance.

Their are 3 other options for the building's location: the Maritime Museum, Bates Field (MOB), and the old Greystone School.

It seems like nothing will ever happen at the Civic Center site. Every time they say that they have a plan for the property, it always gets the axe

Honestly this is a good thing. There are much better things that could be placed there to help the city. An office building can go anywhere.

If they go elsewhere because of the setback, then it was not a positive relationship in the first place. It is easy for them to be granted a waiver for this setback.
