Seems like some work is being done to the 105-109 row on Dauphin (façade renovations), as well as the old "Foy" at 119 Dauphin.

I definitely think the corps of engineers could go somewhere else. There are dozens of properties they can purchase downtown that are currently dilapidated buildings or surface parking. I agree with Scott Jones saying that if they allow this to go forward, it limits what could be at the site. They need to find a different location and move the parking deck to be on the interior of the site, not at the edge. They could make all of that Lawrence street side townhouses and then upzone the corner of canal and Claiborne to be 5 story apartments. And they need to continue the canal street service road down to meet Claiborne street so that it’s not a dead end

Today I noticed that Wet Willie's has added out door seating on the balconies on the 2nd floor. I don't know how late I am on this but having a 2nd level of Wet Willie's is another major come up. And it's on a parade route.

It's been in the works for years. Covid has delayed it considerably.
