according to John Sharp with al.com Amtrak, CSX, NS, and Alabama Port Authority put out a joint statement announcing an agreement. Haven't seen anything anywhere else but apparently John has

Seems so.. Curious to where they're going to put it. I know there's renderings for one at Cooper Riverside Park but Brookley also set aside some land for possibly one out there.

Well, the Populous' Civic Center Plans finally gets the green light, can't wait to see all the developments that will be coming to the property, now the city council has to decided which plan to choose, which will probably take a hot minute

Something like the MidCity District in Huntsville would be nice...... but that isnt happening. We have had what, almost 8 years since the original plans came out. Ill hold my breath on anything happening.

Not big enough for that development. Huntsville's midcity is being built in an area similar to West Mobile.

Mid City is around 110 acres.
