About damn time ! They held on to despair for too long. I heard they own the town house behind the Cathedral. Is that the mud 1800 town home you're talking about ?
Well that and a few more on Dauphin. They’ve been modified over the years to have storefronts at the bottom, but they were originally built as row houses. There are 4 separate ones(you can tell by the firewalls) that are between the buildings on both ends of that block. There’s also 1 story of a previously 2 story wooden townhouse on Conti street that now has a warehouse look. Attached to that is the continuation of the warehouse onto a 1 story wooden house’s facade(you can see the roofline in an aerial view).

In total, they owned 4 attached townhouses from the mid 1800s, 1 commercial building from 1900, 1 wooden townhouse with the second story razed likely late 1800s, a 1 story wooden house likely late 1800s, the standalone mid 1800s townhouse behind the cathedral, and an empty parking lot that previously had a mid 1800s brick townhouse that was demo’d for a handful of parking spaces.

Just drove past the CVS at Government and Broad and it’s permanently closed. Hopefully the newly reconstructed broad street will attract a developer for something there that makes that gateway to downtown look better.

That’s pretty significant, that CVS property is zoned B-4 which means it can be redeveloped in a wide range of ways

It was purchased. That is why it was shuttered.

My guess is that it will be quickly sold to a warehousing company
