A PUD/ZON/SUB for 16 South Florida Street came and I'm struggling to decipher in the information as there's already like 4 duplexes there,

not sure how many housing units will be in it but they are increasing the number of parking spaces to 25, which it looks like there's like 10 right, So are they destroying the duplexes and putting in an Apartment Complex? None of the documents are accessible

Rezone is R-3

Looking at it on a map there’s just a bunch of green space behind it. So they might just be building on that

With how the Old Shell/Florida St intersection is booming, I hope they do something nice there and that side of Florida Street takes off. Emogene and S Florida Street has become a trendy little corner for consignment shops and outdoor markets in the spring/summer

About 4 years ago ,There was an idea of building some brownstone type of housing in that area if I'm not mistaking.

Wow that's cool ! One of our other posters on here is kin to one of the original French families in Mobile. He resides in Atmore now I believe but he chimes in every now and then.
