If I’m looking at this correctly, Port of Mobile wants to build a logistics park off of Baker Street north of the airport and south of the container terminal

Man in true fashion, we decide to take our time with the civic center at the very last step to get the whole thing rolling

Delaying this - even for a month - is very much a good thing IMO

I agree that they need to not hastily approve something. These buildings that get built will be there for the rest of our lives. The least we can do is make sure they fit into downtown. A lot of criticism I’ve seen is what carol hunter said in that it doesn’t seem to be very urban. The last thing we need is for something that sticks out like a sore thumb and is liked by no one. What I don’t understand is why hasn’t this sort of thing been sorted by now? They knew for years that the surface parking could be replaced and could’ve had this all ready when Populous presented their idea for the civic center. Instead, they did literally nothing besides contract populous to come up with a plan for a renovated civic center. This is moving too slowly, but they’ve put themselves in this position

Baldwin County Commission had something 1500+ housing units presented to them and they only accepted 652 of them
That number has to be off for Baldwin County or does Tealwood only count by individual phases even if the original land plots were all approved as once(I hope i worded that correctly), because it is 620 plots alone, and phase 1 started selling last week.

I’m not worried about it taking a month, if it did, I wouldn’t mind at all and would 100% agree. I’m worried that they will somehow manage to drag this thing out another 3 years
