Well took Dutch to the vet today. Didn't have have x-rays for him to go "Yup- she's gonna have some pups soon", lol. Took a picture and the vet counted
9!
Of course he said, "Well- that's what I can count. So possibly 11, but then again could be 7". I said "Well in that case is my x-ray bill $75, or maybe could be $50?
So looks like we will have some house guests from the first week of January to March!

What vet do you use? that's a durn clear xray if you can actually count pups.
'Sides, I'm always open to another vet. 'Specially one that don't charge an arm, a leg, and three teeth.
(My old ones from Bozeman are mostly gone and who's left are now WAAAAAY too expensive. $1000 for a C-section, and that's the cow vet. Cripes, that more than double what it was in Boise, and
that was too much. -- Over the past 20 years vet charges have gone up at around 20x the rate of inflation, for which you can largely thank pet insurance.)
