I must have picked this flick up at the dollar store. Sigh, it's not my type of flick, from it being about reality to the interviews to that he found God and yet.....BUT, it was in the library, it is Cops & Robbers night, and I decided to go through it as oppose to always wondering if I should have. I had to set aside anything I might have thought about the movie, into the movie, and just took it as, if, it was a movie that came on the channel and I had no other choice in the matter. Say a 5.0.

If you love dogs then THIS is the movie that brings out the tears!
It's a 10 minute short that has been around since 2005
A Japanese short film about a girl Mika and her dog Marimo who starts out as a puppy and she as a little girl and they grow up together doing everything together, but even without dialogue or anything else you understand everything that happens very well.
It has 3 "parts" to it, first from the girl's perspective, then from the dog's perspective, and then the conclusion.
If the visuals dont get you, the piano music WILL!
I saw it couple nights ago. Absolutely loved it. As I said in the NYC forum, one of the best New York movies ever, and just a total joy — even if you’re not a New Yorker or black or a man or a jazz fan. A thinking man’s cartoon that looks great and feels good too. Hats off to Pixar.
An Elephant Sitting Still (2018) on Amazon Prime - 9/10.
