The beautiful fox was in my yard again during the day. He ran off when I pulled the car in. I catch him on my patio all the time at night. My yard must be his home, cause he runs around the rear of the house like he owns the place.

Deer soars over two cars in CCTV video
Home CCTV captured the moment a deer flew over two cars in New Jersey, in the US, before crash-landing into the back of a pick-up its owner, Jay Vaughan, was trying to sell.
The crash happened just as a potential buyer was pulling up to see the pick-up.

The buyer was apparently not put off by the deer's escapade, and bought the pick-up anyway, according to Mr Vaughan.

My mind is just boggled sometimes at how little people pay attention while driving.

A short while ago a whitetail buck walked in front of my house. He seemed a bit wary and then walked over 1 house to the street that intersects the street I live on. Fortunately all these streets are non-busy residential streets. Nonetheless as he was crossing the street a car came down the street and only missed the buck by maybe 10 feet. The car never even slowed down! So there was this big whitetail buck walking in front of whoever was driving and the idiot driver barely even noticed! I mean, how stupid and spaced out do you have to be to not notice this big deer crossing the road right in front of you?!?!?

Unbelievable!!

Agree with this. Some years ago while driving to work I saw that someone had hit/flattened a spruce grouse hen and 2 of her chicks in broad daylight. Anyone who lives around spruce grouse (in that area everyone does) knows they don't exactly bolt out right in front of a car. They are quite cautious and deliberate about roads. The driver must have been asleep at the wheel not to notice a chicken-sized bird with about 10 chicks standing right in his line of travel. The reminder of her brood was left orphaned and vulnerable on the road shoulder, reluctant to leave her which was very sad. Bet none of them survived the night.

About a week later I saw at least seven Monarch butterflies at the New Jersey shore. On the drive home I realized that there were no gulls on the beach. I saw a few in the air from a bay beach in Surf City.
