Yes - and the bike traffic was a bit disconcerting. They were all very polite but one felt a bit apprehensive nonetheless.

Yes, with the cliff there…but the views of Lake Tahoe are unbelievable!

That mountain bike ride is famous, riders from all over the world.

Marlette is a beautiful destination as well, so glad you experienced it and Mt Rose

I've spent a fair amount of time in Henderson. It's quiet compared to Vegas. Cost of living has increased greatly just like most other places. Since COVID it seems that the casinos in Henderson are shutting down or coming back very slowly. Personally, I wouldn't retire in Henderson. I prefer cooler climates.

I once attended a wedding in Vegas as a groomsman when it was 120F outdoors. It was in a small chapel located on The Strip that seated about 50 people. We had to wait outdoors until it was our turn to enter for the 20 minute wedding time slot. Once we were inside it wasn't much better because the AC could not keep up with the heat. I must have lost 5 pounds in sweat that day!
