Surely. I'm looking for specifics, though. Lots of non-specific vitriol spewed by the Dems for no reason other than "orange man bad" in my experience.

Why should I explain anything to a Republican troll?

Nah. California pays a lot better and treats their state employees a lot better. If anything, you should be the one looking this way.

And really my age group hasn't gotten screwed over nearly as badly as those that came after. College, health insurance, and even housing was reasonable when I entered adulthood. That's not the case any longer, generally speaking.

Those are reasons why I don't think we'll see the same amount of political shift that has happened in the past.

Plus you have issues of families leaving liberal areas like CA to NV, TX, etc. A friend of mine is taking the money he earned on his Seattle home and moving to Montana since he can no longer afford to move up (housing wise) in Seattle. He is a Seattle liberal and will soon be voting that way in Montana. Remote work is accelerating these trends. How much longer till TX flips blue? NV used to be a swing state, but I think we're likely mostly blue from here out.

I've talked about this repeatedly, but nobody pays attention.

The more a population urbanizes and clusters in one area, and the larger the population gets, the more demand for services.

Republicans talk a good game about development, building, suburban expansion, relaxed zoning, etc., etc., and they make a lot of money on backroom deals when development gets approved, but that's where it stops.

They don't believe in building new schools, expanded freeways, transit systems, new hospitals, new fire stations, having more municipal services, libraries, animal shelters, child care programs, clinics, increased broadband, etc. Those things are the bread and butter of the Democrats.

So -- in essence -- Republicans come in, buy up the land and get rich off the profits, and then leave. Who comes in to fill in the holes when a developed area has needs? The Democrats.

That's why places like Nevada and Arizona are changing and becoming less conservative in one word: urbanization.

Hey, it's you that quit your state-funded/district job. Not me!

Although, I am not in a state retirement plan, but a large county-funded one (LACERA). We do fine!

Joe, you are assuming that this new virus confers a long standing immunity like the mumps virus. It may well be that any immunity only lasts 1 or 2 years. It is also a possibility that re-infection could be worse than the original infection.
Or it may be that immunity is for good? You don't know, and the vast majority of Americans don't have the luxury of putting their lives on hold indefinitely like many in the 65-and-older crowd who are retired. If you have bothered to look at the data, you know who the at-risk population is, 65 and over plus those with underlying health conditions. To claim anything else is being disingenuous. Policy needs to be made based on what the data is telling us, not that we need to appease the 65-and-over crowd.

By the way, are you in the 65-and-over crowd and retired? If not, have you lost your job? Have you felt any impact from this ridiculous lockdown?
