I was picking up my son from guitar lessons here in Candia tonight and on the drive home I saw a great display! It was right down the street from me. If you took a left off of exit 3, Route 101 - it would be the right just before the overpass. You can see it from the main road. And they had a sign that on Thurs,Fri, Sat and Sunday nights they play music in sessions from 6-10 (I think those were the times anyway)!
It would be worth checking out! I plan on going this weekend to see what they have for music, etc.

Anyone else see any nice displays??? I'd like to take a ride this weekend with my son but I haven't seen any new listings. Maybe people can't afford to do the big displays this year with our lousy economy and all. : (

update: I went by the one in Candia last night at 8:30. AWESOME! Very cool light show to music. You set a certain radio station in your car and the lights go along with the music.
Very nice display, good music. My son thought it was the coolest thing ever.

houses around here (MD) are just starting to put their displays up. Unfortunately our beautiful Christmas tree is not lit yet (down the road). Since the original owners have passed on, no idea if the kids who I guess now live there will continue it this year.

A couple of days ago they finally turned on the big tree down the road. I took a pic, but you can't really tell how impressive it is. I was standing on the top of a hill (the road dips down to the creek) and the tree is 2/3 of the way down. It's probably one of the biggest trees in town.

the one in Candia isn't too far from the one in Raymond.
If you took exit 4 to go to Raymond, it's very close! The one in Candia is right off of Exit 3. Take a left off of the exit and before you go back under the overpass, take a right onto Pine Ridge. It's right there!
They do the display all of the time, but the music only Thursday-Sunday from 6-10 every 1/2 hour.
It's really neat!!!
