can anyone tell me more about Hamilton (Mercer County), NJ?? I was thinking about looking at some properties there and I kinda know a bit about it. I have a relative that lives there, but I've only gone to that area less than 5x. I know that its closer to Trenton and Hamilton is a pretty big town itself. Is there any "bad" parts of Hamilton? Or maybe the "less than desirable" part of it? How is the school system? It seems like its so close to everything and that's good. School system and safety is pretty up there for my top requirements. I was also looking at a property in Washington Township in Gloucester. Wash. Township or Hamilton?? One of the properties is near that Grounds for Sculpture and the other one is closer to Bordentown Township. Any suggestions and advice are welcome!

Hamilton is a big township, roughly 40 sq miles. If schools are a top priority, stick to Hamilton East (Steinert District). Hamilton North (Nottingham District) is the next best and Hamilton West (Watson District) is the least desireable and closest to Trenton.

The Grounds for Sculpture is quite close to the Trenton border.

I think the OP is talking about Washington Township in Mercer County, which is now known as Robbinsville, I believe. That makes more sense since they're both near each other. I don't think that Robbinsville has the same vibe as Washington Township in Gloucester County.

Wow I didn't realize there were that many Washington Townships! I grew up in Washington north Jersey and thought the one down south was the only other one...

Actually, there are 5 Washingtown Townships in NJ. There were 6 until Robbinsville renamed itself in 2007.

I assumed the OP was referring to Hamilton, NJ (Mercer Co.) because she/he referred to a property close to the Grounds For Sculpture which is in Hamilton, NJ.

Well OP did say "Washington Township in Gloucester" so he/she could be talking about the one commonly referred to by South Jerseyans as simply "Township"
