Ok rephrase...relocating to bridgewater in 4 weeks. Should they be underground by then?!?!

More than likely...yes.
However, not every brood emerges at the same time.
But, given the prediction for VERY hot temperatures over the next few days, I would bet on a rapid emergence of these critters, followed by a burrowing into the soil near the roots of your trees.

I have horrifying images of my little 5lb chiawawa coming in from outside covered with them. Ugh!!

There are tons in Westfield. Trees and fences covered with them.

Is that a Chia Pet that was purchased at a Wawa convenience store?

If you want a small, intelligent pet, I recommend the breed of dog named, Chihuahua.

indeed. they are like crack to my dog, he goes crazy trying to eat them. he just sits by the door all day whining to go outside. very gross.
