You crack me up dude, talk about the kettle calling the pot black.... Who started this thread when certain someone got all worked up over "these ridiculous Bergen county threads"?
What are you talking about? My phone did autocorrect. That's why I deleted the post. You take yourself to seriously. Don't get all worked up over an internet forum.

I remember living in Jersey City and my parents would have the extended family Thanksgiving dinner there every couple of years. My aunts and uncles would dread coming into the (ghetto in their minds)Jersey City from the burbs. They all grew up there as kids. Funny thing now is they couldn't afford many parts of the city.

..and all the people who live in NY look down on all of NJ... rather than worry about all of the people who you think may have (or they think they have) a better situation than you - - take a second to count your blessings. There are a lot of folks who are having a tough time out there.
The reason why Bergen County real estate is higher priced than other counties is one reason....proximity to NYC. Commute is easier and faster to the city. Just as Hoboken, Jersey City, and Weehawken have the highest priced real estate than any other Hudson County town. It's not because the neighborhoods and schools are better but because you are in Manhattan in 25 minutes. Most Bergen County residents work in Manhattan so goes the old supply and demand...
