Just checked the NJ Department of Health vaccine appointment link for those who are invited after registering and see a huge number of available appointments in different locations for even the same day or in the next half hour!
This implies NJ's registration system is being too slow to open up appointments to more registered people or even more that its really time to open up eligibility to everyone over 16 like other states are doing.
If doses are being offered for even the next hour and people aren't taking, can only imagine there is some waste going on to the trash!
That’s only certain counties. I can’t get appointments for my kids in Union. Essex is easy. Union impossible. It’s infuriating.

I've had great success with CVS. New appointments become available at midnight. Check then, and a half hour later (when you click to reserve an appointment, it reserves it for a half hour, so a half hour later, the appointments people grabbed but didn't reserve become available again). If you are ok with a large search radius, use a zip code of 070 (yes, just 3 digits) to search all of north Jersey. I think south Jersey's code is 080 but don't quote me on that.

While that is a pretty big blow, there is news of production increases for both Pfizer and Moderna. While J&J will still be hard to come by (governments have been reserving them for mostly difficult to reach people, like the homeless) the others should start to have even better supply. I know some people are holding out for J&J, but I think it'll be a while before we have the luxury to choose.
I know several people in Mercer County who have gotten the J&J over the past 3 weeks... i'm starting to think that is the one they are giving out in this county now ?
I didn't want to start another thread so I'm plunking this in here. I voted no except for kids/teachers k-12 (they have to get the measles/polio etc anyway) and air travel. Also, CDC card, not cell phone.

Let us know in our poll if you should be required to show a "passport" proving you're vaccinated or you've tested negative for COVID-19.
Just hope everyone knows how I look at the vaccine like "really?"
I am not getting it.
There are many like me.
