But here we are, talking DMV blues here and not in the DMV thread. Aww, who cares....

My wife was going to change the registration on her 67 Beetle to New Mexico from MI. She got all her paperwork together, and I mean ALL of it, and showed up at the office. Three hours, three people, and the prospect of another hour waiting for "someone" to come back from lunch later, she decided that the Beetle would probably be just as happy with MI tags.
What a bureaucratic nightmare.
Yet another DMV horror story. Does anyone know why they're so by the book? sounds like overkill to me.

We were at the very tip top of that Ice Storm. We didnt experience any significant damage or long power outages like most people did.

This year has been a little below normal. Right now my friend in Alaska is recording the same temperature as I am in Indiana. 42 degrees

It's actually quite warm here today, despite the ominous wind presaging the storm to inevitably come. We're at 70 today in point of fact! Tonight the arctic demons may return. Gotta walk Beowulf after work and pack.

I like talking about ghost stories and paranormal stuff like that.

Has anyone here had any experience with ghosts or orbs or just strange things happening to them?

Nope....but there's alot of Ghost Towns all over this state as New Mexico was a huge mining state in the 1800's dotted with many mining towns that's been abandoned for a 100 years or so.

I've had some encounters.

Indiana was somwhat of a mining state back in the early days but the days of mining are long gone. I dont really think we have "ghost towns" but who knows I havent been to every nook and cranny of Indiana.
