I will never understand why some people feel so put out by having to produces a drivers license. It's not that hard and not a inconvenience. Show your ID and move on in life. Too many other things to worry about, then the 10 seconds it takes to pull out an ID.

Some older people get flattered when asked for ID. It's all a matter of perspective.

Don't cry and complain, nobody is listening and nobody caries (the merchants and state officials).

Just put the kids in the car and come back in by your self to buy the alcohol or vice-versa.

It is easier than talking to clerks who are not paid to think and managers who will make you wait a half an hour for you to hear the same nonsense.

I am insulted when they don't ask. (63 years old). If the Clerks make me mad, I insist that they read my I.D. while I take my time in the process. Especially with a big line. Then if I am in a real bad mode, I will just leave it on the counter and walk out in the end. Learning the Techniques of being a good as.....le takes years of experience, but if it doesn't cost someone money, they will not get the message otherwise.

Do they still have the drive-up windows? I used to go to one on Central. Was it Jax or Jacks?

Not since 1998, when the state of New Mexico passed a law banning liquor sales at drive-up windows.

It is, although I heard the owners were trying to sell it. I've never been in but they sure draw a crowd.
