I will never understand why some people feel so put out by having to produces a drivers license. It's not that hard and not a inconvenience. Show your ID and move on in life. Too many other things to worry about, then the 10 seconds it takes to pull out an ID.

Some older people get flattered when asked for ID. It's all a matter of perspective.
I am insulted when they don't ask. (63 years old). If the Clerks make me mad, I insist that they read my I.D. while I take my time in the process. Especially with a big line. Then if I am in a real bad mode, I will just leave it on the counter and walk out in the end. Learning the Techniques of being a good as.....le takes years of experience, but if it doesn't cost someone money, they will not get the message otherwise.

my favorite comeback when asked, at my age, for my DL is: why, do you think I am too old to buy booze? Boy will I be shocked the day the cashier says Yes
What is the law in New Mexico that requires you to remove sunglasses when purchasing alcohol???
