Naw-lins, please. Only Frank Davis talks like that on TV. He is a local Justin Wilson, sounds one way on TV but it is all an act. What a phony.

During the Super Bowl on cbs, a couple of the talking heads said it as 'New Or-lee-uhns'. That never sounds right.

None of the NO natives that I worked with down there said it that way, I don't remember anyone saying it that way. They all said it as 'New Orlinz'.

I was born there and lived there until I have 54 and everyone I knew said it that eay.

Actually, between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, most people I've met call it N'awlins. But they pronounce all their R's like that, not just the city's name.

Or even if they say "New Awlins," it sounds similar because of the missing R sound.
