Wow! I wish I knew about this thread in January I was called for review 6 months ago and the process has been hell. I had given up hope several times already. I was finally offered an apartment yesterday but still need to wait for HDC approval? Has anyone else gone through that? How long does it take? I have excellent credit but inconsistent and low income. Will they want more documents? I think I have spent $500 on copies and notarization, even amended a tax return. I have zone preference I believe. Thanks! Good Luck!

Saw a 2-bedroom today and my wife said no because they don't have a washer&dryer in the unit...I honestly don't think my marriage is going to survive this.

Good luck to all...

The gentleman who showed us the apartment said no 80/20 units had washer or dryers and he gave us a tour of the laundry room.

I got a call today to submit some more documents jus current pay stubs and banking info for June. I asked him how things were goin he said wen I submit those documents he will send it over. Is it goin to the developers or the city ? Is there a door man in the building ? Do visitors have to sign in? I heard a coworker tell me her building track your visitors . At the interview they indirectly say you can't have company . That's crazy . I heard there's a seperAte enterance that's not as fancy. We have to go through all this trouble to recertify every year and get the raggedy apartments , small rooms and No washer . Bad enough we can't use the amenities in the building due to high cost and no parking . I need an apartment , I very grateful but all this trouble you would think were getting a baby condo . Gas included but I bet the stove is electric smh
