@Dreamapt-I concur with bobjohnson55 in regards to the gas. I called ConEd to transfer my account which now I currently have both gas and electric. ConEd told me that at 1133 it is only electric that I would be responsible for.

@bobjohnson55-good luck with your move next week. We are moving in tomorrow! I REALLY can't wait until it's all over!! The move that is! LOL

Us too! We waited too long to start packing last move so my wife started reasonably earlier now. We are moving from a three bedroom, so we are shedding stuff like crazy. Moving is such a different animal with two kids. The toddler is aware we are moving and is getting really excited, but being excited all the time also makes him exhausted and cranky by the end of the day.

Aniach, that is hilarious! Yeah, he was doing laps in there for like two hours. Just crazy energy. (We already decided to get some sheer curtains so we can enjoy the light and privacy...I used to live behind the NYU dorms and learned the hard way about windows into courtyards!)

@bobjohnson55-My toddler today saw all his toys and books in a box and just gave me a very puzzled look, even though I have been trying to explain to him we are moving to a new home and to his new bedroom. I'm hoping he will adjust quickly. I have moved many times, but this is the first time with my son and it's much different. It takes forever to pack one box! Well, for now it's crunch time, and once I return home from work I have to get pack to packing. Ugggghhh Almost over.

Does anyone know if I should give up hope on this? My log was in the 34,000 range with CB preference. We applied for a middle income 2 bedroom. We are in the process of losing our apartment so I thought I would check and it still says, "tenant selection in progress".
