Just to add to the anecdotal evidence, the boyfriend and I are in the highest income bracket, and we got a high floor with a view. We had a pretty low log number and CB2 preference, though, so we were called in when there were still a lot of apartments available.
On a completely separate note, we've been working on organizing our apartment and came up with a decent utensil storage solution for the somewhat quirky kitchen drawers, which are pretty deep but have open sides. We put a utensil organizer in the bottom, and then sat a clear shoe box from the Container Store on the side rails to hold odds and ends. It fits perfectly and slides pretty easily.
Well like a low-income person COULD end up with a great view, that also means a high income person COULD end up with a bad view. That's the whole fairness aspect of it all I guess

Good idea, thanks for sharing!! I was wondering about that!! Such an odd design for the drawers

Are you on Instagram? I think I saw some of your pics
We went to view the offered apartment, and our coordinator asked if we were ready to sign the lease and advised us in re what we needed to bring in regarding security and first month's rent. We were also advised to provide additional asset information. Does this mean we are in the clear ? Or is there another step once we say to her, ok, let's go ahead with this. Mid - income 2 bed/2bath high floor.
I started to follow you a few days ago!! I was hoping it was you lol
