Did the leasing agent mention this to you before or after your interview? Also, is the leasing agent referencing the units available in comparison to other 2-3 bedroom units or all units? I'm checking to see if the 1 bedroom units are still available.
I didn't go in for interview, but was in the process of contacting them to schedule one (like many in this forum, I got the letter last week to schedule an interview) Again, as my application is not applicable, the leasing agent didn't say anything about availability of either studio of 1-bedroom.
I finally got my own appointment scheduled today. I'm solo, so there must be at least one 1-bed left, justbe. (Hopefully, two...!) I tried to find out what band(s) had availability, but they didn't answer that question.

At the time I initially applied, I only qualified for mid-income. Now I am in the overlap group. Since they asked me to update with an approximation of income before scheduling my interview, I suppose it could be either.
My interview schedule cut off was last Friday, after multiple calls and emails last week and multiple emails this week I still haven't heard back from the management company. Anyone else in the same boat?

Same here. My cutoff was Saturday which leads me to believe that as long as you contacted them by that time, as stated in the letter, we are still able to be in the running. I'm getting my papers together either way.
I interviewed recently. The interviewer said that they were doing a big batch of applications right now, which was slowing the process. He also said that the low-income 1-beds and studios were all gone and the mid-range 1-beds and studios were "basically finished," but there were still high(er)-income 1-beds and studios available.

@randomperson2
Do you know the follow-up information they ask for at the interview once you submit your documents or does it just vary from person to person?
I don't know what the policies are, only what I was asked. Mostly just reconfirming the information I'd already given. Housing, employment, criminal history, too.

If they'd answer my appeal I'd take a high(er)-income 1-bed
