We saw an apartment on May 10th. A leasing specialist emailed me asking for more paperwork last week. I haven't heard back since. It might take a while for things to pickup after the viewing, unfortunately.
What were you thoughts? Some didn't appreciate the size? Good view? fit and finish? Size?

Not surprised. I will expect a call for more paperwork and just wait it out. Thanks for the info.
I received a letter for an interview today. My log number is in the 2XXXX's and I qualify for a 1 or 2 bed middle-income apartment. Does anyone know what floors the lottery apartments are typically on? I'm hoping its the higher floors.

I saw an earlier response mention they were on the lower half but maybe someone has more details

The higher bracket 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom are on the higher floors like in the 40's. I was told the 2 bedroom 1 bathroom were on the lower floors (somewhere in the 20's) not sure about the 1 bedroom. If its just yourself they won't give you a 2 bedroom even if you fall into that bracket.

Is there some kind of separation between market-renters and affordable-renters? Like is there a sign on people's doors (obviously not but...) or do they go through different management companies or...

Oh no you blend in like regular residents. Same management, you have any issues with the apartment you go through the same channels as market rate.

I read earlier in the thread that they won't accommodate based on family size, any idea if this is true? I received letter for further processing, log #29xxx. My family size has increased since application (marriage) but I still fit into the same income bracket. We're hoping for pregnancy sometime in the next year or two, and we want to make a long term move so obviously I'd like to try to get a two bedroom, but it sounds like they would not agree to that idea.
