The building received a 4th certificate of occupancy (TCO). Probably more market rate units are ready. At this point I don't know what BG is waiting for. They can't keep saying they are waiting on the TCO.

why do they have a 4th TCO? Why doesn't 1 just suffice...? Also how long does it take between a building applying for TCO, inspections, and then approval?

The TCO applies to different floors. Also, the TCO's expire after 90 days so they need to keep re-applying.

I would say they're working on processing the applications they have updated documents for, but they've had mine for over two weeks now...

I guess there isn't a rule about affordable applicants and market-rate tenants needing to move in at the same time.

Are you thinking of following up with them soon? I'm curious to see if your file has been sent to HPD yet. I think if you were going to be rejected they would have done it already; they do not wait around on the rejections.

I think it's weird that they're not asking for updated 6 months of bank statements. That is an essential part of the eligibility process. They can't send files to HPD without that information.

Don't I need to sign forms before they can send my info to HPD? My guess is they haven't even looked at my file, haha.

Yeah you're right, you need to sign forms for them to send it to HPD, but they did probably look at your file because they love disqualifying people as soon as possible. If you were going to be disqualified you probably would have heard already. So again, hearing nothing is a good thing. But the fact that nobody has sent in 6 months of updated bank statements is very weird. I might ask them myself why they are not requesting that- they can't send files to Compliance/HPD without that.

Has anyone had a problem getting their bank (i.e., Chase) to fill out the asset verification form? They wouldn't do it for me in March; Chase printed out their own statement for me to give BG.

I questioned the bank statements also. I was surprised they didn't ask for them just the signed verification form from th bank. Who knows, just have to wait. SO FRUSTRATING!!!!

You would think they have a whole city of apts to fill. They only have 116, 10 per week would be a good pace. What is taking sooooo looooog. Please let this week be a moving force in this process.
