They have wood floors. It was much publicized that in exchange for the affordable apartments being in a separate "poor door" building, the apartments would be made very nice, with stainless steel appliances, dishwashers, and hardwood floors.
However, hardwood floors throughout might cause the building to be loud..... people will have to put rugs down.
Damn! I'm jelly!! I have carpet in my unit and been waking up with 1 clogged nose and random sharp headaches. Not sure if its the central air keeping the air too dry or the carpet or who knows! I just wish I had wood floors

Can you install them yourself? The management might welcome it if you're willing to put your own money toward it.
Also, someone who was on a blog but not for 10fps arrange that the floors be changed because of allergies before they moved in. They were asked for a doctors note. Maybe they will accommodate you if not fully maybe partially.It,s worth a try.
I’m still waiting on breaking ground to send me a reply back had my interview the 6th of October and my credit pulled 10/19/2017. Still waiting.
My friend who applied for a different site with breaking ground got approved for a studio and her process took 3 months in total. She is moving in this month.

This is what I may have to do. I have my doctors appointment this weekend and will be asking for an allergy test. I have 2 cats but I've never had these particular headaches as I have now since I've moved in! Management told me if I wanted the carpets removed I would have to get a doctors note and they would install the commercial tile that is everywhere else in my unit. I HATE carpet!!!
