Oh I'm sorry I thought you said that 10 Freedom Place said that you could only get a studio. That is my biggest fear because I think the studios at 10 Freedom Place are small (at least compared to the 1 bedrooms).

And I'm not sure if Breaking Ground is aware that the Certificate of Occupancy was issued already?? Maybe someone needs to let them know haha

What Ms. Paulino said doesn't make sense. I think she might not be aware that the C/O was already just issued this week. Unless the apartments themselves aren't ready for move-in (like maybe there are still plumbing issues for example) even though the C/O is issued.

Maybe they are waiting for the CO for the entire building or all the extra work to be finished. Who knows
At the end of the day we just have to wait. Enjoy the summer, it gives you time to handle any business that you need to clear up or save for your security, 1st months rent, utilities, furniture and full up your freezer. Oh yea and buy a Halloween costume, Thanksgiving turkey and a Christmas tree.

They couldn't issue a TCO if they couldn't be occupied.

There's no reason for them to wait for the whole building to have a C/O. Almost no lotteries do this. I think they must just not be aware that the C/O was issued, since Breaking Ground isn't the one who applied for it. I may call up and say something like "now that the C/O has been issued do you have any new estimate on the timing?" just to hint at the fact that it was issued

The TCO just means the building is safe to occupy not that it's ready. The Dept of Buildings doesn't care if all the appliances are ready for example or if all the bathroom fixtures are installed. So the TCO may be issued but all the apts may not be ready to be occupied.

This is a good idea. That email is really discouraging. It contradicts everything!

I could be wrong, but I think that all selected applicants must have had their interviews by now; have you been contacted?
