I suppose it's 150 spots on the waitlist, not really 150 units. I luckily had a choice between the "kitchen in the entry hall" and an open floor plan but on a lower floor. I took the lower floor and never regretted it.
Does anyone live here and can give insight to the quality of life? I read up some reviews on Google left by residents and there seem to be a variety of complaints. There are also a number of five star reviews but people are saying they are fake.
I find that when a building as "great" as this opens up a waitlist with a lot of spots, it's likely there are issues that are causing residents to flee. Same thing happened with 10 Montieth/Rheingold Bushwick.

There's only a handful of actual negative reviews and the reviews tend to relate to the pricing and the elevators.....People on this site are applying to the lottery so the pricing complaints don't really pertain to you so that really only leaves the elevator. Of course, people paying 3,000+ dollars are going to expect more. That doesnt really point to some terrible underlining issues causing residents to flee.

I thought the same. I was willing to overlook elevator issues as 1 out of 6 elevators being down is not such a big deal. However, the below quote from one of the reviews was very discouraging. I am trying to get away from my current noisy neighbors apartment.
Begin quote:
"The building itself suffers from poor construction. While floors are concrete and you won't hear your upstairs neighbors, you might constantly hear things like dropped objects, bed bangs and moans from sex, clacky dog nails, footsteps, washing machines, cabinet and certain door slams from your NEXT DOOR neighbors. Dropped objects will sound almost as if it was dropped inside your apartment, with the sounds travelling through MULTIPLE WALLS because the floors and walls are super hollow and clacky.
You'll smell cooking odors all the time, especially if your kitchen walls are shared (their microwave fan will literally push cooking odors over to your side) and you'll hear your neighbor sing and cough in the bathroom if the bathroom walls are shared.
They chose the worst heating/AC unit on the market. The AC is very loud and the heater is steam rather than hot water, so it's super loud. And I suspect they use it to vent the apartments as well so they are always open to the outside and constantly leak in street noise and cold air during the winter. Also the windows themselves constantly leak cold air."
I applied also.. and I’m now seeing these reviews & they are worrying :/ . I can attest that management is rude and can be unresponsive. I’ve had to deal with them prior due to the type of work I do. At the time, I did not know this was a lottery building or luxury building.

Hating on finding one review over 200+ other reviews is crazy. Reviews are so you can see a trend, one review does not make something a trend, that’s an individual. Hell, I’m not going to convince you to apply anywhere, but I know you definitely still put in an app and you definitely wouldnt withdraw it over that one review soooo okay? Where are we now?
