I heard back earlier this week. I have zero preference (and i live in brooklyn) with a log number below 50. But was dq'd d/t incorrect income listed (it was from 2 years ago, I now make within the bracket), I submitted an appeal and am waiting to hear back on that. I dont think I should have a problem because I meet all the criteria. Ironically I've heard from two lotteries this week that I applied for waaay back (almost 2 years ago) that at the time met their income requirements but now make too much and have to turn them down.
Did they tell you you were disqualified on the day of the interview? That’s silly that you have to go through with that appeal.

I merely got an email saying that I was disqualified for my income being too low (again, error in my original application) - I had emailed them as soon as I saw my low log # that I was well within the income range it was just an accident and they told me to reply to my disqualification email to appeal it (and then I would have to submit my information after that. Its been over 2 weeks and I reached out again today and they said they are still processing it. I wonder if they skipped over me too fast and possibly messed up somehow. Looking at all of these lotteries I see so many options for singles making 25-38K and people making above $60K... I really haven't seen anything for singles making around $45K.
