Hi
My housing specialist from compliance got back to me saying that there was a delay due to continued processing of community board. She said that they should be getting back to Municipal preference soon. I was asked to submit updated documents because it's been over 2 months since I gave in the last documents.

As we can see, there are a number of factors that play into how quickly or slowly they process files. Patience is key.
Again......To be continued.... Keeping a positive attitude

Yes, you can own property and be eligible for an apartment here, It's based on your income. Also, if your son was on the original application as co-applicant, he should be able to buy without you provided he meets the family composition for the apartment.

Have you been able to confirm that re: her son? I'm curious now, and I hope she's able to transfer it.

Once you submit documents what happens next? Do they tell you you're approved and assign an apt to you? Or is there another approval?

I'm confused *♀️
Thanks!

I called HPD today. A lady who answered the phone told me she just received my file yesterday.
The file marketing management sent was totally wrong.
They need to ask them resubmit again.

All right PrettyK stay positive and provide all the documentation they ask. Even if I had a relatively fast process, I remember the frustration to have waited for some weeks and then the only thing I would hear from is to provide further documentation or clarifications of the paperwork already submitted, especially when asked to submit it in a tight deadline.

Did You Apply For Roberto Clemente Plaza Apartments In Brooklyn? If So That’s What The Letter Is For Most Likely You Got Choosen From The Lottery. I Received Mines Yesterday Saying I’ve Been Choosen From The Lottery As Well As My Log # & A Application For Further Processing.

It's not a case of being able to transfer it, if the son was over 18 and a co-applicant when the application was submitted then he could continue the process without her. It's just like if a husband and wife were co-applicants and for some reason one of them were out of the picture when their number came up.
