So i've been lurking on this thread for a couple of weeks now but just wanted to give an update for anyone still wondering about this building. I originally got a letter relatively soon after the application closed in May 2019 for an interview but i didn't want to proceed at the time so I didn't respond. Then March 2020 I received an email stating they reached my log number again and if I wanted to proceed I had 3 ways to get documents to them (upload to portal, email or schedule a date to drop off in person) within 2 weeks from date they sent the email. So I uploaded everything within a few days and was told I would hear back within 2-3mos. On May 5th. received another email saying they were ready to proceed and they requested some more documents from me. 5/5-5/12 it was back and forth between sending documents and explaining some transactions on my banks statements. On 5/14 I got notice that I was approved for a studio apt and i'm scheduled to view it on 5/20. And they stated lease signing would open up between 6/1-7/1. My log# was 3## with no preference.

Congratulations did you view the apartment? How was everything?

Damn! This comment has made me feel even more concerned about my prospects for another building, my log# is in the low 80's, but the building doesn't have a preference of any kind and I only qualify for one AMI section, is it ok for me to hope that the majority of those below me don't qualify or are not interested? LOOOL although, with 62% total preference for this building, I can see how they may have ran out of units in the most common band. Fingers crossed!

Has anyone been recently approved for an apartment in these buildings?

Most people on here who got called for an initial interview to submit documents last year were part of a preference group and out of everyone here I think only 1 or two were told they can go to the next steps. Most if not all of us never got processed and I think some people who were able to get processed might have declined due to only studios being available.

Hey just wondering how things went for you? Did you view the apartment, how did it look? Have you signed your lease and have they given you a move in date yet?

I too submitted documentation in March and a specialist reached out last week and said they would like to proceed my application for a studio. My income was calculated and was okay'd by the specialist. I sent in updated documents as well. I'm not sure what happens next so just a waiting game I guess.

Hi. Things went well. I viewed the apartment on 5/20 and told them i accepted the apartment. The property manager told me I would get my lease via email to review and ask her any questions before my move in date. As of right now I'm set to pick up my keys on 7/1. And I'll be moving in either that day or that weekend depending on my movers schedule. I found this floor plan online and it's
pretty similar to the apt I'll be moving into. Everything looked new. There was a washer/dryer in unit, a dish washer. The lobby looked like a hotel http://imgur.com/gallery/YuCXn4t

Oh awesome! Very happy for you and congratulations on your move! The specialist actually emailed me back and they are sending my info to HPD, very exciting! Fingers crossed for good news.

Your unit looks really nice, perfect for one person! One last question, how did you like the surrounding area?

Thanks and congrats to you for making this far. Hopefully you'll get a fast response from HPD like I did. I didn't get a chance to explore the area but it seems like it'll be cool especially once everything starts opening back up
