That’s a nice looking kitchen!

It's so strange to see a PS kitchen without the typical brown cabinets and with plank wood floors (that isn't a resident's custom renovation). I take it this is the new look for all renovated apartments going forward? What apartment line is this? The Gs don't have a window in the kitchen.

The was an A line that I saw with my daughter. She is a new resident of PS, and this is the kitchen that the restoration team at PS put in. (This is not the apartment she was offered.) All the other six kitchens we saw had the reddish brown old cabinets, refinished. I’m thinking that the old cabinets in this apartment were beyond repair. I wonder if PS could install this kitchen if requested, for a price, of course.

Also, in most of the apartments we saw, the original wood parquet was restored nicely in a light, low-luster finish. But two had new oak plank flooring, again very nice.

Any movement on the 1BR list? Did those that saw apartments in this last round hear anything back yet? Good luck!

I was in to see 5 apartments about a month ago. Didn't hear back, so I assume I didn't get anything. I was pretty high on the list, so it wasn't a big surprise. I'm in the 70s on the external waiting list.

You still may hear back. If you have a high number for this batch, everyone ahead of you has to either make a decision or not reply at all before an apartment would wend its way down to you. What size apartment are you going for?

That's helpful! I'm in the high 80s, so I'm hopeful I'm in the next batch! But probably will have a low priority number for viewing I'm sure.

I saw three 2 bedrooms a few weeks ago. # 11. Haven't heard anything.

My daughter received an apartment offer more than a month after viewing. She was offered only one, and she accepted it. It's a G line one-bedroom.

Joek, did you see any apartments you particularly liked? My daughter saw mostly Gs, which is the smallest one-bedroom. None of the ones she saw had balconies.

She and her husband have settled in very nicely and are enjoying Penn South!
