Just re-set my password and was able to login! My position is a little behind what I thought it was, but around what I thought it would be originally (4XX)

My log is 9X studio list without people on hold,13X with. There are like 18 positions from the 1998 list, so unsure if they will be contacted efficiently or not when apartment come up. Guess I have 3+ years of waiting ahead.

Each list is different: studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom. So, if you please, mention which size apartment you're waiting for.

My daughter went from around 150 to around 240 on the one-bedroom list. She said there are people on there from 1976!

I would say that the one-bedroom list moves the quickest, because there are more one-bedrooms per floor than either studios or two-bedrooms.

For those on 2019 list, did you receive your information for checking the waiting list via e-mail or hard copy mail?

I am supposed to be on the one-bedroom waitlist. Originally I thought I was 43X and according to the Penn South portal I am now 45X.

I thought I did see some very old applicants still on the list.

I do think one-bedrooms turn over the quickest, in general on most waiting lists.

Didn't receive anything from Penn South officially yet, but if you use the link that was mentioned you can see your position.

judging from the previous 2014 thread, studios always seemed to move the fastest.

Mainly because you don't have to compete with internal applicants at that point. if you're on the 1BR waitlist, you're waiting with other external 1BR applicants, internal applicants that currently are in studios at Penn South at are looking to upsize AND internal applicants that looking to move to a different 1BR.

I think I’ll likely put my application on hold as my situation has changed a bit since the pandemic and quarantine started. I’m also feeling a bit overwhelmed in general (as many people are) and can’t imagine tackling a big change now, especially uprooting my child from his current school and friends. If anyone knows the process of putting the application on hold, please share.
I actually sent an email inquiring about putting my application on hold today and about an hour later received an email back letting me know my application was officially put on hold! You no longer have to write them a letter (though you still can if you want, it’s one of two ways they give you an option of contacting them).

Easy, painless process!
