In the absence of better options, I gonna be hoping for this one. A short was from my current block, the building looks exactly like on the pic (and on google maps), a box with the exact same shades creepily closed in every window. The entrance door doesn't seem to have ever been open (yet). Right on the BQE (it IS loud around there) with some construction going on on the same street, and a vacant lot in the opposite (and we all know what it means) but a nice neighborhood in general and most windows facing South. What’s more to ask.
I think the application numbers that are displayed when you go into your dashboard are the new log numbers. I haven't noticed any change in the numbers I displayed so far.
it doesn't make sense for them to be, since we get application numbers right after we submit an application. that messes up the whole idea of having a "lottery". others also agree that app # is not log number
I'd imagine that with a new platform they'd make everything easier to understand, visible, and accessible, but if we ideally all have different application numbers then that would likely be the most logical explanation, but I guess we will see.

I don't think it makes sense that the application number would represent the log number seeing as they seem to represent the total number of applications on the portal across all lotteries in a chronological order. I think more than likely, given how slowly the new portal took off, we're seeing a delay in any log number generating / application processing. Hopefully something changes soon though!
