The communication is absurdly bad with this lottery. I submitted my original documents back in April, had my eligibility appointment in June, and am currently waiting to get any info after clarifying/re-submitting some documents...

I'll let you know whenever I get updates on my studio/1br quest!

Hi all. Has anyone moved in yet? I got a 2br floor plan for the “E” line. Apparently that’s the only 2 bed left.

Hi

I was told two units on the “D” line is available. Were you assigned a unit on the “B” line? My log number is in the 51xx

Hi there! Log #58xx

I was assigned 5D which has a similar layout to B. The B line is on the other side of the building. And the B line is a lot more spacious than the D line. Then next day I was informed that 5D was no longer available and offered me 2E, 3E 28D and 29D. The second bed on the E and upper D line were very small. I have twins (boy and girl) and there was just no way a bunk bed would fit. I ended up withdrawing. BTW, 5D has a different layout than 28D.

I'm trying my luck with Two Blue Slip if not I'll wait for Bell Slip to launch lol.

Hi there,

Have you had your eligibility appointment yet? If not, you should hear from them soon. I was asked for documents on April 19th and on May 27th they reached out to me for the eligibility appointment in which was scheduled for June 8th. On June 8th i was asked for updated paystubs, credit authorization, rental application and a few more documents. A month later, they had a unit assigned to me. I declined units offered and withdrew application.

I've learned to be extremely patient with these lotteries after my horrible experience with The Dime in Williamsburg.

I had my eligibility appointment on 06/08. They reached out to me on 7/08 (exactly one month later) stating that unit 5D was available and was assigned to me. I accepted the assigned unit immediately and was emailed back my file was getting ready to be sent out to HPD. Then on 07/09 the assigned unit was no longer available. I was offered apartment 28D, 29D, 2E and 3E. I declined and withdrew my application.

You should be hearing from there soon. I believe there's only two agents handling the lottery.

Good luck

Yeah :-/

Take a look at the floor plans:

I was initially assigned 5D - https://streeteasy.com/building/one-blue-slip/05d

This is 28D - https://streeteasy.com/building/one-blue-slip/28d

5D was no longer available so i was offered 2/3E - https://streeteasy.com/building/one-blue-slip/03e

I would've settled with the E line unit but that second bed was small too. It was a very tough decision to make as i really wanted a new place before the kids started school :-/

Oh I see, yeah 5D would have been very nice. As you mentioned, Two Slip and the Bell buildings are still in the works!
