Thanks for the feedback on timeline everyone! Just crazy how long it takes and I have a low log number. I was also approved by HPD for another building but will have to withdraw from that one as I’m not crazy about the location any longer, but that lottery moved so fast it was insane compared to the stories I have read about timeline.

This waiting game is no fun lol

Yeah, i withdrew from the Astor too.

Now that you know you've made it to HPD approval with a different building i'd remain real positive and patient with this building.

Did you sign a one year lease with OBS? If so, i can see why it may be nerve wrecking as your lease may be up soon

Hi! Can I ask, after one blue slip, does your housingconnect say withdrawn or rejected?

I turned down an apt at 5241 center and on housingconnect it said I "rejected" the unit offered to me. I'm just wondering if this will negatively impact my other lotteries in any way.. I mean I would've withdraw my application had I know about the process more or the agent was more forthcoming. I was only offered a unit after HPD approval and without a viewing or a say in the apartment.

Rejecting or ignoring document requests doesn't impact any other lotteries nor future lotteries.

I withdrew my application with reason that unit was too small. Yesterday, my portal was updated by the leasing agent to rejected (i was low key heart broken lol). I guess they have to update it on their end as well in order to move on to the next log#.

Don't worry. I'm in the same boat. I turned down a great apartment but it just didn't work for me. I know you're hoping for two bs and I'm hoping for the other one in LIC haha but we may or may not have a low log number.. I'm with ya.

We'll wave at each other from our new shiny apartments next year across the wonderful "river" and wastewater treatment plant in the middle.
