My log 1xx was deemed ineligible.. i don't know when as I only noticed after logging into housingconnect. I am GP no preference in case this helps anyone else.

They took over a year before they got to my log and a slight raise in salary disqualified me since then... but that's how it is I guess

Thank you for this update. Did they request documents or did they just take a snapshot of your application to deem you ineligible??

They did not contact me. I didn't even get an automated email from housing connect telling me I was ineligible.. i just opened the portal and noticed I had an additional "completed" application

Oh wow. I’m assuming that the income on your profile did not meet the requirements ?? That’s a little disheartening to hear. Not even being notified to submit documents

Yeah - I updated the income on the housing connect site to be able to apply for other lotteries, so maybe when they got to my log they already knew not to reach out

Hey! So I received a rejection letter and I appealed and they denied my appeal, as well. When I applied to this building I accidentally listed my live-in aide as a “domestic partner” because I thought those terms were interchangeable. I also listed them first (so it looked like they were the HOH even though they aren’t and don’t contribute financially) I also listed their income because it asked for it (but I guess I should have excluded it?) I think I made too many mistakes when I applied that it’s not worth filing a complaint to HPD, right?

This was their rejection:
Other
There were changes to your household composition from your application, which were not due to an extenuating circumstance. Inconsistent or unverifiable information regarding household composition.

When I appealed I submitted a doctor’s note that confirms that I’ve needed a live-in aide since prior to the date I applied to this building. I also submitted a live-in aide affidavit that I had to provide to my landlord when I signed my lease at my current building. Lastly, I submitted a copy of my housing voucher which reflects that I need a live-in aide because my voucher is issued for a 2 bedroom. But I guess that’s not enough to prove that my household composition hasn’t changed and that I just accidentally entered it wrong… I dunno…

Does anyone have updates? Also does anyone know if they still have 1 br left ? How do they determined a unit if you qualify for both a studio and one bedroom. I’m still trying to figure out if I have a chance.

Hi all. Just giving an update and wondering if anyone else has any feedback or updates as well. My log # is 2xx and my application status changed last week to pending. This is one of the lowest log numbers I have for a lottery I really like. How long has anyone been pending until they have been reached out. I’m trying not to look every day on the website lol. I’m anxious to get that notification to submit documents.

Hi all,
I know there's been a lot of frustration with this lottery. I remember a previous user mentioned having disability preferences. Not sure if that worked out. If not, consider this re-rental from Hunter's Point South - which are the two buildings adjacent to the two center blvd buildings.

Saw this on the re-rental HDC website. If you're okay with the rent and fit the criteria, do consider applying. Hope it works out for someone!
